By plane
You can reach the Molo Beverello, Calata di Massa, and Mergellina ports from Naples Capodichino Airport by taxi or public bus. A shuttle bus connects the airport directly to Molo Beverello; tickets can be purchased on board.

If you’re travelling by train, you can get off at Napoli Centrale station, which is about 2 km from the embarkation piers (Beverello and Calata di Massa). From there, you can continue by taxi or by public bus; tickets can be purchased directly at the station.

Are you planning to travel by car? We recommend boarding at the port of Pozzuoli, as the sea crossing is shorter than from Naples.
After the Naples highway exit, continue for about 12 km, take the ring road towards Pozzuoli, exit at “Via Campana” and follow the signs for the port.

Should you be traveling as a passenger, you can board the hydrofoil from Molo Beverello or Mergellina.
If you are bringing your car, you must board the ferry from Calata di Massa (Naples) or from the port of Pozzuoli.

from Piazza Trieste – Porto di Ischia, the bus station located right next to the ferry terminal, buses provide regular connections to other towns on the island.
